I just walked in to the office after a day's shooting and found that Santa Clause, (AKA Baltimore Sun equipment guru Jeffrey Bill) left two, (count 'em, two) Nikon SB-800 speedlights in my mailbox. Don't get me wrong - I am still into the SB-24/26/etc. vintage Nikon flash thing. But I have heard so much about what these little uber-lights can do from many of Strobist's readers that I am itching to play.
Expect some test drives and write-ups soon.
